A romance between an age-old actor and a young model is a commonplace of our time. But sometimes strong alliances grow out of these “banal” couples.
An example of such a relationship is Tina Kunaki and Vincent Cassel.
August 24, 2018 Vincent Cassel married for the second time. Tina Kunaki became his chosen one. A 30-year age difference (what could a 50-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl have in common?) And Monica Bellucci’s predecessor (well, who can compare with her?) made many doubt this union. However, the two seem to be as happy three years later as they were at the beginning of the novel. How it all began
Vincent has always liked older girls. Having played the main role in the film “This Awkward Moment”, where his 45-year-old hero is having an affair with a 17-year-old girl, he sincerely did not understand how a youngster could interest an experienced adult man. Sex? This argument did not attract the actor, since he believed that teenage stupidity and deliberate vulgarity cannot be sexual.
And in the same 2015, he met her – aspiring model Tina Kunaki, who had just turned 18 years old. They met in Ibiza, where they both spent a short spontaneous vacation. Tina turned to the gray-haired, but very well-built Vincent, when he conquered the wave on the surf. Funny, she had no idea who she admired. Kassel noticed Kunaki that evening at the bar: the girl laughed contagiously, having gathered around her the maximum number of male representatives.
Thanks to a mutual friend, they exchanged glances for the first time, then started talking, and Tina asked for a surf lesson. Vincent made an appointment for the next morning, although he still remained skeptical about the young girl.
There’s something in this
They met, saddled a couple of waves and decided to take a walk. She liked to listen to his stories from life and filming a movie, and he was happy to be charged with her liveliness, energy and carelessness.
From that day on, they began to see each other every day. They walked in remote corners – away from the paparazzi (although they caught them anyway). Kassel’s opinion about young girls was slowly changing: he was not annoyed by Kunaki’s chatter, her endless selfies for Instagram (the social network was recognized as extremist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation), preferences in music and cinema. And she completely forgot that next to her was a man who was even older than her father. They were good together.
In the evenings, the actor watched Tina dance in a bar, concentrating annoying fans around her. Suddenly, he realized that watching this picture was unpleasant for him.
Thus began their romance. Romance at a distance: after a vacation, Kassel returned to Brazil, where he had lived for several years, and Kunaki returned to his parents in Biarritz.
Love for all ages
A few months later, Tina insisted on introducing Vincent to her brothers. They were at first wary, and then turned out to be just as fascinated by the actor as their sister.
In August 2016, Kassel and Kunaki declassified their romance, and in November they were first published together. The couple appeared at the Victoria’s Secret show at the Paris Grand Palais. A star of such magnitude as Vincent Cassel could pave the way for Tina to the best catwalks in the world, but this was not required: it was enough for the model to appear next to him, and her career raced uphill – continuous photo shoots, shooting and defile.
For a while, the lovers lived in Brazil, because the actor loves this country, but, in the end, for the sake of his beloved, he agreed to move back to France – after all, she had a job there. It’s funny that at the moment when Cassel returned to Paris, his ex-wife moved out of there, explaining that she was tired of the bustle of the capital.
In May 2017, both ex-wives appeared on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival: Monica was accompanied by actor Gilles Lellouche, and Vincent shone next to Tina.
After a couple of months, they started talking about their separation: supposedly the actor was bored, and the windy model was completely carried away by another. Whether the crisis really happened to the couple is hard to say, but it was absolutely the calm before the storm.
A family
They celebrated New Year 2018 together. And then it started spinning: a marriage proposal, and then, on August 24, a magnificent wedding. The marriage registration took place at the mayor’s office of the small town of Bidart in southwestern France, not far from Biarritz, where the lovers had already purchased their own house at that time.
Vincent always said that he would like to become a father of many children (from Monica Bellucci, the actor has two daughters, Virgo and Leonie), “I am very much in love and I am completely sure that we will have children.” However, few believed that Tina would give up her career for this. But everyone was wrong!
8 months after the wedding, in April 2019, Tina gave birth to a girl, whom happy parents named Amazoni.
Today, the couple is still happy together. On July 31, 2021, Vincent publicly congratulated his beloved wife on the 6th anniversary of the relationship. And on August 24, the spectacular couple celebrates their 3rd wedding anniversary. Harmony reigns in their family life: both have learned to combine work and personal, devote maximum time to the little Amazon, do not forget about each other. So, for example, pictures of spouses from the beach are always something as touching and touching as possible. So much in these views and gestures of love!
However, there are still those who compare Kunaki and Bellucia – the former and current spouses of the actor are really similar in many ways (especially if the models straighten their hair!), But, frankly, we do not believe that Tina has served replacement. It just happens: sometimes one relationship ends, and after them another begins. And no matter how much we want to compare, there is such a simple thing as type. It’s just that Vincent likes curvy girls like Tina and Monica.
The public does not give up and criticizes the French actor for trying to get younger at the expense of his wife. Vincent has one answer to this: yes, he is already over 50, and that is why he does what he wants, not paying attention to the opinions around him. Life is one.
