What is the Digital Kit of the Acelera Pyme Plan?

The Accelerate SME Program is the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation aimed at building the reference ecosystem for the digital transformation of SMEs.

It is developed by Red.es, an entity dependent on the Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, and is part of the 2021-2025 SME Digitization Plan, which has a budget of more than 4,000 million euros.

They are aids that are obtained to have a web page, have an internet presence (SEO), e-commerce stores, social network management, customer and supplier management, business intelligence, process management, electronic invoicing, or cybersecurity.

How do I apply for the Digital Kit grants?

The process is very simple, we will only have to access the website that Acelera Pyme has enabled for this purpose and register your company to be able to access the administration part, it is important to have a digital certificate.

Once inside you can perform the digital diagnostic test, an essential step to be able to access the aid.

The test consists of 13 fairly simple questions about the company’s processes and the level of digitization that it has, it is completed in just 10 minutes.

You also have two additional tests if you want to learn more about your company, the digital transformation self-assessment test, and the cybersecurity self-assessment test.

Once these tests have been completed, you will be provided with a digital voucher with the assigned amount so that you can go to an agent to digitize what you want and start your project.

How much are the Digital Kit grants?

The Government of Spain has segmented the companies that can benefit from the aid of the Acelera Pyme digital kit into 3 groups:

  • Segment I: Small companies, from 10 to 49 employees, estimated at around 150,000 throughout Spain, with a maximum amount of the digital bonus per company of €12,000.
  • Segment II: Small companies or micro-companies, from 3 to 9 employees, which are estimated to be 1,100.00 in Spain, with a maximum amount of the digital bonus per company of €6,000.
  • Segment III: Small companies or micro-companies and the self-employed (people in a situation of self-employment), with 1 to 2 employees, who are estimated to be 1,600,000 in Spain, with a maximum amount of the digital voucher of €2,000.

Grants are awarded in order of registration.

Who can request the Digital Kit?

Any company in the national territory can request the aid, the differences lie in the number of workers, we leave you the detail.

  • Small companies from 3 to 9 workers
  • Micro companies or freelancers from 0 to 2 workers.

Requirements and conditions to access the aid of ACELERA PYME

In order to access the aid from Acelera Pyme and its Digital Kit, a series of essential conditions and requirements have been established that must be met.   • Being a small company, a micro company, or self-employed.
  • Not be considered a company in crisis
  • Be up to date with payments of tax obligations and against Social Security.
  • Not incurring in any of the prohibitions provided for in the General Subsidies Law.
  • Be registered in the Census of businessmen, professionals, and withholders of the State Tax Administration Agency or in the equivalent census of the Foral Tax Administration.
  • Not be subject to a pending recovery order following a prior decision by the European Commission.
  • Do not exceed the minimum aid limit (€200,000).
  • Have the evaluation of the Digital Maturity Level according to the diagnostic test on the Acelera payment platform.
