Brigitte Macron is 25 years older than her husband, but together they look more than harmonious. What makes the first lady of France look younger than her age?
Brigitte Tronier worked as a teacher in the city of Amiens, where in May 1993 she met her student Emmanuel Macron, a peer and classmate of her daughter Laurence. Their romance began in 1994 and could have ended in scandal (of course – a minor student and teacher 25 years older than him), if not for the boy’s parents. They decided to move to Paris, where Emmanuel finished his last year at school, but their relationship with Brigitte did not stop even at a distance.
Only 10 years later, in January 2006, Tronier divorced her first husband, and a year later she married Emmanuel. The groom was then 29 years old, and the bride – was 54 years old. Macron first brought his wife to light in 2015, and in 2017 she became the first lady of France.
