Google added new filters in the search functionality in the Gmail mail service.
Now all letters can be sorted by a large number of parameters, for example, by the sender, time of sending, presence and type of attachment, etc. In addition, when searching for a letter with an attachment, you can specify its type: PDF file, spreadsheet, or text document.
It will also be possible to exclude certain types of letters by setting the appropriate filters.
The developers have provided for the parallel use of several filters at once. This will allow you to narrow down your search. For example, it will be possible to filter emails with attachments from one recipient for a certain period of time.
The new filters will become available to G Suite users in the coming weeks. After this launch is complete, they will appear to all Gmail users and will be placed right below the search bar. This will make the search in the service faster and more intuitive.
