Biography of Natalia Mogilevskaya

Natalia was born and raised in Kyiv. She studied at the school named after V. I. Kudryashov No. 195 on Bereznyaki and graduated from 9 classes. After high school, the girl decided to enter the Kiev Circus Variety School.

Shortly after graduating from college, in 1995, Natalia began a solo career, changing her dissonant surname Mogila to a loud one – Mogilevskaya. In the same year, she won the “Slavianski Bazaar”, which was an incredibly successful start for the young performer. The singer’s first hits are “Girl with lily-colored hair”, “Snowdrop” and “Jerusalem”.

In 1996, she entered KNUKiM, and the very next year, in 1997, she released her first album La-la-la, which sold a million copies.

The following albums of Mogilevskaya were released one after another every year: 1998 – the album “Snowdrop”, 1999 – the album “Only Me”. In the same year, the song “Mіsyats” became the song of the year in Ukraine, and Natalia was recognized as the best singer in the country.

2000, the singer held the first all-Ukrainian tour in support of the album “Only Me”, and then again took up the active recording of albums every year: 2001 – the album “Not Like That”, for which Natalya was recognized as the best singer in Ukraine and received the Golden Firebird award, 2002 – the album “Winter” with a video clip for the song “Winter (teddy bear)” with Dmitry Gordon, 2003 – the album “The most … the most”.

With her second husband, Yegor Dolinin, also a big businessman, the vocalist was married for five years (from 2006 to 2011). Their relationship was more mature and serious, but this marriage eventually fell apart.

The name Natalia was often associated with the men who surrounded her in her musical, television, and film career. For example, there were rumors about her romantic relationship with dancer Vlad Yama, producer Oleg Voronovich, singer Petr Dmitrichenko, legendary choreographer Radu Poklitaru. But Mogilevskaya herself denied all alleged rumors.

On the project “Dancing with the Stars”, in which Natalya won, and Vlad Yama was a member of the jury, after some verbal “collisions” of former partners, Natalya once again confirmed that she and Vlad had never had a romantic relationship. However, the singer admitted that the rumors about their alleged romance hurt her second marriage a lot.

Natalia’s father was a geologist and died when she and her older sister Oksana were very young. Therefore, the entire upbringing of the girls fell on the shoulders of their mother, Nina Petrovna. The woman worked as a cook in one of the capital’s restaurants.

Mom became Natalia’s best friend and all their lives they were support and supported each other. When the woman died in 2013, it was a real tragedy for the singer. According to Natalia, then she thought about ending her career forever and never returning to the stage or television.
