Shampoo manufacturers usually indicate on the labels that it is enough to apply and lather well just once to effectively cleanse the scalp and hair

However, not everyone should follow this rule. In this material, we tell who and why it is better to wash your hair twice.

Have you ever noticed that even after washing your hair in the morning, your hair starts to shine at the roots and seem stale by the middle of the day? Usually, in such cases, we tend to scold the shampoo: they say, the product was of poor quality, and it would be necessary to change it.

But what if we say that in fact the remedy has nothing to do with it, and you just wash your hair the wrong way? The main cause of your problem is most likely an overly oily scalp. That is why hair starts to get dirty just a few hours after you wash it.

Proper care will help to cope with this, which includes applying shampoo twice in one trip to the shower. First, wash your hair as usual: squeeze out a little shampoo, lather the product well and apply it to the hair and scalp with massage movements. Then rinse the curls well and repeat the same trick again.

And yes, you should not do this “just in case” if the sebum is normal. So you can only dry out the scalp, which will cause peeling and itching. These problems are clearly of no use to us, do you agree?

There are a few more useful beauty hacks that will help owners of oily scalp keep their hair fresh for as long as possible. One of them is the use of dry shampoo immediately after shampooing. First, dry your hair, and then gently spray the spray at the roots along the partings – so your hair will not only keep fresh throughout the day but will instantly acquire a cool volume.

What else can you do to keep your scalp from getting greasy just a few hours after washing? Don’t touch your hair! Our palms produce a fairly large amount of sebum, which we simply “wipe” on our hair in endless attempts to fix our hair. The result – the hair becomes dirty faster than usual.
