We tell why we love Rotterdam and why it is worth going there.
1. Rotterdam is a city of the future with numerous modern architectural solutions, which is not typical for the Netherlands.
2. Delfshaven. Tourists go here for traditional Dutch architecture and narrow canals. And such architecture is present in ultra-modern Rotterdam.
3. Pub, brewery, and hotel De Pelgrim. Near it, there is a sign that says that this is the only brewery in the world where you can officially sign and get married. True or not, we can only guess.
4. Wooden bridge Luchtsingel, which connects the city center with its northern part. The Dutch themselves believe that this bridge is the second version of the famous High Line in New York.
5. Vintage shops. Despite its modernity, Rotterdam has a large number of vintage shops and flea markets. And the prices here are much lower than in Amsterdam.
6. The terrace of the Nhow hotel. For a delicious cocktail and a beautiful view, head to the seventh floor of the Nhow hotel. Great place to spend a pleasant evening.
