Thinking, attention, memory, imagination – this is what “reasonable man” differs from the whole living world. Man, unlike animals, not only preserves his appearance but also develops it. An important role in this is played by thinking and its feature of flexibility. Often we do not use even half of our internal resources until we are faced with difficult life circumstances. Sometimes it is they who become that magical impetus that teaches us to think and think differently when we turn on all our internal resources, our “I can”.

The more flexible a person’s thinking, the easier it is for him to adapt to any conditions, as well as to benefit from the most unfavorable situations.

Is it possible to develop the skill of flexible thinking and activate your “can” without difficult circumstances?

Thinking flexibility is the ability to generate options for solving one problem in many ways, the ability to quickly switch from one thought to another, think about several things at the same time, use creativity, show adaptive abilities and perceive life from all possible points of view.

To think flexibly, you need to need it, you need to awaken in yourself the need for such thinking.

What are the situations in which we need to think flexibly enough? First of all, these are situations that are related to our survival, but also when we really want to get or achieve something.

For example, the case of my friend who built a successful business in Ukraine and successfully sold it when he decided to move to live in London. We met with him six months later. He happily announced that he was moving again to Kyiv. A measured, prescribed, calm, well-fed life abroad had a bad effect on his mood and well-being. We were just talking about the flexibility of thinking and the benefits of “harsh everyday life” in our country, which makes us be in good shape, analyze, look for new ideas and accept non-standard thinking.

This example demonstrates how useful it is for our body to think and solve complex problems, this is what adds joy and color to our life.

For flexible thinking, a person must have perseverance, perseverance, and patience, but not stubbornness.

A stubborn person acts according to a pattern, worked out, and learned rules. This happens due to the rigidity of thinking or laziness because thinking in a new way is hard and difficult, and it is not an easy job that requires large energy resources.

When we desire something with all our heart and are willing to work for it, we can also successfully develop flexibility of mind.

So we develop perseverance in ourselves, through the continuous search for a solution to the task before us to realize our desires, that is, we turn on brainstorming. Thus, we suppress laziness in ourselves and convince our brains that the work we do is vital. Then he gives us the necessary energy resources to solve the problem and bring it to life.

The more desires we have that inspire us, the easier it is for us to practice flexible thinking.

How else can you develop flexibility of thinking, we will tell you at the  Sense Women Club meeting from the “Focus of Attention” series, which will be held on February 25, in the VIP bar of our partner Premier Palace. And we will start it with a tour and the inspiring history of the hotel, which this year will be 100 years old. Registration.
